Walking
Staverton is on the Jurassic Way, an 88 mile walk which runs from Banbury to Stamford.
There are marked footpaths to Flecknoe and Braunston and both have excellent pubs called The Old Olive Bush and The Admiral Nelson that make a perfect base.
Local walks nearby can incorporate Napton reservoir and Catesby viaduct whilst local historical places of interest include Castle Dykes Farm at Farthingstone and Edgcote, site of the Battle of Edgcote in 1469.
We can supply local ordnance survey maps and try to keep a stock of these local walking routes:

Hillrise Bed and Breakfast
"The two spacious double guest rooms in our recently renovated village home provide a characterful and relaxing environment, with deep comfortable beds, powerful showers, and in the evening the opportunity to relax in front of an open fire or catch up with some work in the separate guest lounge. The rooms enjoy free Wi-Fi, television and tea and coffee making facilities, and there is parking in our paved yard, set back from the road. Motorbikes and bicycles can be securely locked up under cover if required. The house is set in a pretty tree-strewn garden with views over the hills, woods and fields of rural western Northamptonshire, and is shared with Poppy the dalmatian, and Polly the tabbycat."
